iNaturalist Webinar - Building a global movement for nature

About this event

From the event page -

Every observation on iNaturalist starts with someone noticing nature. Together, those observations are building a global movement that brings people together, advances science, and helps protect species.

Join iNaturalist Executive Director Scott Loarie to hear where iNaturalist is headed next, in conversation with three of the many people who are part of that movement.

• Shaunak Modi co-founded the Coastal Conservation Foundation, a nonprofit, and Marine Life of Mumbai, a group that connects people in Mumbai and across India with their local marine life.

• Corey Callaghan and his research group at the University of Florida study how iNaturalist is accelerating biodiversity science.

• Merav Vonshak is a lead organizer of the Newt Patrol, where she coordinates volunteers and runs on-the-ground surveys.

This webinar will be recorded. Please register to receive the recording.
