Weekly Go Meetup

About this event

The de facto weekly meetup. We are a long-standing club which meet on Thursdays 7:00pm to closing at the Sunnyvale Whole Foods. We have been around in some form or shape for the past 20 years, and have a large number of regulars (typically 20-30 people a week). Club meetings mostly consist of:

• a lot of casual play

• meet new people!

• game reviews with stronger players to improve!

Our club also has an abnormal amount of strong players, with more than 1/2-3/4 of our players being dan players, the rest being strong single-digit kyu. However, we highly encourage newcomers to join, as we have some of the strongest players in the country to help you improve. Our group of newcomers has been consistently growing in the past year! There is no entry fee and you do not have to bring your own equipment. All we ask is you buy something from the Whole Foods which has graciously provided us the playing space! We hope to see all of you there!!
