About this event
The documentary follows NYT bestselling author and historian Dr. Jemar Tisby to the U.S.-Mexico border to examine the contradiction at the heart of American Christianity: the same faith that compels some to welcome migrants compelled others to shut the door on 270,000 of them. The screening will be followed by a conversation with Dr. Roberto Mata and Dr. Jaime Wright from the Department of Religious Studies. A reception will follow the screening and conversation.REGISTER HERE (https://givepul.se/ja1mqu)e the contradiction at the heart of American Christianity: the same faith that compels some to welcome migrants compelled others to shut the door on 270,000 of them.
