Explore the field of electronic packaging and learn about its importance in today's semiconductor and electronics industries. Dr. Shangguan will introduce students to the field, discuss current technologies and industry trends, and share insights into potential career paths and opportunities.
With decades of experience in the semiconductor and electronics industry, Dr. Shangguan has held leadership positions at companies including Flex, STATSChipPAC (now JCET), Ford Electronics, and Visteon. He is currently President of Thermal Engineering Associates (TEA) and a strategic advisor to companies in the global semiconductor and electronics industry. He has also authored/co-authored over 200 technical papers and holds more than 30 U.S. patents.
No prior knowledge of electronic packaging is needed. All majors and experience levels are welcome!
